Wild China is a six-part nature documentary series co-produced by the BBC Natural History Unit and China Central Television (CCTV) and filmed in high definition. It is currently in post-production and due to be screened in the UK on BBC Two beginning on 11 May 2008.

An in-depth look at some of China's most impressive natural sites such as the ancient Han kingdom, the Mongol steppes, the Silk Road and the Tibetan Plateau.

With splendour, scale and romance, Wild China lifts the veil on the world's most enigmatic and magnificent country, delving into its vibrant habitats to reveal a land of unbelievable natural complexity.
